Thank you to all who visited my exhibit "Effecting A Connection" last month! I loved meeting all of you and telling you about my work. When the Gallery was busy, I wasn't able to speak to all of you, but I truly appreciated you being there.
I now have a display of 17 of my pieces at BC Premier John Horgan's Constituency Offices at 2806 Jacklin Road from Dec 1, 2019 until Jan 31, 2020.
The Juan De Fuca Recreational Centre also has 7 pieces on display until February 2020.
Please contact me if you wish to purchase any of the works that were at the Solo Show or in the current exhibits.
There are 3 pieces in the Westridge Gallery at Coast Collective Arts Centre as well.

Awaken your senses to the magnificence of nature! Join me on an incredible 2 week journey into the heart of Kenya to experience wildlife and wild spaces at their best, carefully and passionately protected by the people who live there. Three spectacular, award-winning Conservancies will host our group where we will see truly wild animals and birds in their natural habitat and meet some of the local people. The trip is limited to only 22 participants so the first  to book will secure their trip of a lifetime!

I hope to see you at the "Effecting A Connection" Show in November at the Coast Collective Arts Centre. I will be there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday both weeks.Everyone wants to feel connected. We all need to feel a bond with family, friends and community. This connection extends to the world at large… to animals, wild places, cities, architecture, history, culture, heritage, food and more. It’s part of human nature.
A healthy connection to the world around us can decrease stress and promote and maintain physical, mental and emotional well-being. Being engaged and connected leads to increased enthusiasm, creativity and energy. Sharing that enthusiasm increases other people’s connectedness.
Every person’s role in life impacts someone or something else, moving outward like ripples in a pond after a pebble is dropped in. Be open to the connections, let them touch and move you.

I am very happy to announce that two of my works have been accepted in to the spectacular Sidney Fine Art Show this year. I will post the images after the show opens but will let you know that one is an almost life-sized image of a beautiful lion, the other is another large image of the incredible Grevy's Zebra, both living free at Lewa Downs in Kenya. If you see me at the show, please ask about the stories associated with them.

What wonderful weather we are having this summer. I hope you are all taking time to enjoy what Mother Nature is providing. I've been busy preparing pieces for my upcoming solo show in November. Proceeds from all sales at the exhibit will benefit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya. It will be exciting for me to share my images and experiences with you as I intend to be in the Gallery most days of the show. Stay tuned for more information to come....
Have a great summer!

The West Shore Arts Extravaganza: The Carnival of Animals was a multi-media performance on May 9, 2019. I am pleased to say that a number of my images from Kenya and around the world were used in this wonderful production. It was a spectacular show and a fundraising event in support of building a performing arts centre on the Westshore of Victoria!
