I am very happy to announce that I have had all three of my entries accepted into the 2016 Sooke Fine Arts Show, Vancouver Island's Premier Summer Arts Event. It is the largest juried event in the region to represent Island artists, attracting more than 8,000 visitors, tourists and art patrons throughout its 11-day run. The show is an important means of drawing attention to the distinct artistic talent on the coastal islands and their contribution to Canada's artistic heritage.
The show is open to the public daily at 10am, July 22-August 1, 2016. It is set in a 17,000-square-foot gallery within the Seaparc Leisure Complex in the seaside town of Sooke.
I will post images of my works after the exhibit opens and will also have other pieces available for sale in the Gallery Gift Shop throughout the Show.
